Gulf Shore Equestrian Center Inc. is a professional Dressage Training, boarding and lesson facility open to all. Our smaller boutique style facility has one concern and it is the well being of the horse and their owners. Not the landscaping. We are a family run facility and we do most of our own work, with a few great staff that pays attention to the smallest details. Our 22 ½ acre facility is the one of largest in Bonita Springs Florida, located 15 minutes from the beach and close to all amenities. Our large pastures are rotated bi-weekly for the grass to keep your horses mentally and physically healthy. We believe in lots of turn out and allowing your horse to have time to be a real horse! Which you will not find anywhere else here in Florida. We turn our horses out all night (as long as the owners approve, and is the safest thing for that particular horse) in our large pastures where they can roam around and happily munch all night. The most we put together is three horses per pasture, but most go out in pairs and we do private as well. We bring them in during the day to their comfortable box stall with or without a run so they can be in the cool shade and fans. Horses are fed three times a day and stalls are picked throughout the day. ALL of our horses are happy and healthy and love there turnout time. I have had clients with hot; agitated, cranky, finicky horses go on our system and cannot believe the difference in how happy and content they are, in a very short time. We treat your horses like our own and only give them the best. We feed the best hay and Seminole Feed. We work with your to develop the best feed and supplement regiment for your horse. We will customize anything for you and in some cases even build it.
Our focus is on developing the horse in a classical Dressage manner with correct training all the way through the levels. I look at the horse in an open and wholistic approch to learn the horse from the inside out, to make sure we work to develop that horse and help that horse in the best manner possible. We are open to all levels of riders from the jr/yr, adult amateur to the professionals. I focus on the correct fundamentals; teach you the understanding of mechanics, physiology, proper seat, and the mental art of horsemanship in classical dressage. We can take you all the way to the show ring with quality scores from correct and classical riding. We are open to all breeds and believe all horses can be a good dressage horse with time and proper training. Just look on our website! We are open to seasonal clients, trailer- in's clients, intensive training courses, vacation lessons and packages and group packages. We offer quality school masters for all levels of riders, and great sale horses. We promote and sell client horses and promote, show and breed stallions as well. We show mostly in Wellington at the best Dressage competitions where not only you can show but watch the best riders in the world compete.
"The Equestrian Boutique of Bonita" this is our own tack and apparel store right on site for our clients. We sell quality imported Dressage equipment, clothing, breeches, custom saddles and boots your everyday needs from natural fly spray to homemade dog soap!! We try to be as easy and relaxing for our clients as possible by giving them a full service and worry free experience. We look at things in more of a holistic approach and try to resolve issues from the root of the problem. We have people that work on our horses and from Electo dermal screening, laser therapy and biomechanical.
We are located minutes north of Naples, 15 Minutes from the coast and 20 minutes from Fort Myers. We are conveniently located right off I -75 on Bonita Beach road exit!
